Gov Deals is an internet auction site that will be utilized by the Auditor’s Office to sell/dispose of surplus personal property items owned by the Allen County Auditor’s Office. The items to be auctioned online will be those that are not needed for public use, are obsolete, or are unfit for the use for which they were acquired by the Auditor’s Office. Using an internet auction allows for increased revenue as well as enables the Auditor to make better use of office space. She can use office space to enhance services to taxpayers rather than using that space for storage.
